This is awesome. While the economy around the country isn't good, its especially bad here in Michigan.Just in the past week it was announced that the state's unemployment rate hit a 16-year high in May (8.5%), three percentage points higher than the national average. That makes this effort by WCSX/Detroit not only a home run, but perhaps a grand slam.
Don't you think that many affected by the downturn of the auto industry and the housing slump could just be classic rock listeners?Its community service - and it will pay off - for the listeners and the station.
